Plate Thief Print Design

Our new print 'Plate Thief' affectionately pays homage to the amazing creations of Antoni Gaudi & his Trencadis artistic style of using recycled broken tiles and chinaware to construct the mosaic patterns throughout Parc Guell in Barcelona. In this print I have re-broken the plates, recycled & re-assembled with the addition of my own digital drawings inspired by the original ceramic pieces.

We have printed this collection onto the most beautiful Tencel Lenzing fabric that feels amazingly soft & luxurious to wear. The Tencel fibres are extracted from sustainably grown wood using a unique closed loop system which recovers & reuses the solvents used, minimising the environmental impact of production
